BIOGRAPHY

Nurul Salimee

Yoga & Ayurveda Wellness Therapist

Raised in a traditional Indo-Malay family, Nurul’s unconventional thinking led her to explore new paths. In her mid-20s, she grew disillusioned with the typical Singapore work-life scene and decided to seek new opportunities abroad, eventually settling in Dubai. During her five years there, she pursued a healthier lifestyle through regular gym workouts, yoga practice, and mindful eating. Despite her efforts, she struggled to get a proper diagnosis for joint inflammations and recurring knee injuries. Nurul was also diagnosed with hormonal imbalances that resulted in severe symptoms like heavy periods, porous bones, and eczema. Frustrated with conventional medicine, she turned to natural remedies, discovering the healing power of Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy. Ayurveda addressed her conditions at their root, while Yoga Therapy helped her harness her energy and emotions. This transformative experience inspired her to study these ancient disciplines, both for her own healing and to help others.

With over 2,500 hours of experience, Nurul now dedicates herself to helping individuals achieve sustainable health and well-being through Yoga and Ayurveda. She trained for five years under the guidance of a medical doctor and Ayurveda physician, working with diverse cases ranging from spinal disorders and obesity to psychological imbalances, chronic headaches, and autoimmune disorders. Her approach blends clinical logic with Ayurvedic wisdom and modern healing techniques, tailoring her sessions to clients' unique body constitutions (doshas), bloodwork, and health imbalances. Specializing in pain relief, inflammation reduction, and stress management, Nurul’s therapies enhance the quality of life for busy, modern individuals. Sessions are available for both adults and children aged five years and up, with a recommended frequency of once a week for six to ten weeks for optimal results.

Client Testimonials

Chronic dizziness: “I really would like to give a big shout-out to my therapist Nurul, who took really good care of me over the last months. Honestly, I can’t imagine how life would be if I hadn’t discovered Ayurveda Therapy. I started experiencing dizziness/imbalance while walking last year. I always felt like tilting to one side. It affected my vision, and the giddiness made it challenging to focus on tasks at hand. It was worse when I was in a crowded place. I went for a brain CT scan and MRI, as well as a Vestibular Test Battery to see if I was suffering from any vestibular disorders. Specialists found no abnormalities and gave me medicine for migraines. I tried Nurul’s session with an open mind; she performed head tapping and ear stimulation with medicated herbs, and Yoga Therapy for Ear & Balance. I went for therapy regularly and to my surprise, the dizziness started to fade away after the 5th session. I understand that this condition may reoccur, so regular practice of the simple Yoga sequence Nurul prescribed, along with following some Ayurvedic lifestyle hacks, can help me to maintain it myself. Thank you so much, Nurul.”

Stress and sleep issues: “I had a great 20 mins deep sleep nap last night. The oil, although oily and hard to wash out, kept my hair relatively soft, especially compared to the 3-day Shirodhara in Bali, where I basically had dry, brittle hair in the end.”

Emotional support: “I feel easier and less tense, allowing my emotions to process. Thank you!”
