Wendy Morton

Wendy is a compassionate, personable, and highly relatable counselor with a practical, solution-focused approach. Her considerable lived experience enhances her trauma-informed perspective. Her professional experience has included, but not limited to, supporting clients facing depression, trauma, parenting challenges, grief/pregnancy loss, assertiveness, self-esteem, self-worth, life transitions, career issues, and bullying. Her experience as a school counselor gives her insight to the unique challenges teens encounter. As a mother who has navigated her daughter’s health challenges, she has deep empathy for those dealing with illness, trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress.


Wendy holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from Monash University and is also a certified Functional Medicine Health Coach. She adopts a holistic approach to therapy, emphasizing the interplay between physical and mental health.


Originally from the UK, she has lived in Singapore for 18 years and Sydney before that. Her diverse background includes two decades of running her own international business and working in London's corporate sector, providing her with valuable insights to help clients with their career-related challenges.

Wendy is a counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling from Monash University, Melbourne, and a certified Functional Medicine Health Coach. She adopts a holistic approach to therapy, emphasizing the connection between physical and mental health to promote healing through the mind, body, and soul.

 

Having lived in Singapore for 18 years, Sydney before that, and originally from the UK, Wendy understands the challenges of transition having moved internationally multiple times since the age of eight. She has helped many clients navigate their transition struggles.

 

Prior to becoming a counselor, Wendy spent two decades running her own international business and working in London’s corporate sector. She brings to her practice, valuable insights into the challenges and complexities encountered in the business world and has assisted clients in navigating career challenges.

 

As a mother of two, Wendy has recently navigated her teenage daughter's severe health challenges. This experience has equipped her with deep empathy and understanding, enabling her to support clients facing various challenges such as illness, grief, trauma, miscarriage, depression, anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Her experience as a school counselor in Singapore has given her a solid understanding of the unique challenges teens face.

 

Wendy firmly believes in taking life’s challenges and turning them into an opportunity for growth and learning. She adopts a practical, solution-focused approach to helping her clients, working collaboratively with them to help them bring about positive change. She fosters resilience through self-compassion and a positive mindset.

 

Drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing, Wendy tailors the therapeutic journey for each client, equipping them with the tools and insights necessary to achieve their goals. Her commitment to each and every individual makes her a trusted partner in navigating their journey.
