BIOGRAPHY
As a supervised Counselor Jason is building clinical hours in this discipline to complement his Clinical Hypnotherapy practice as well as the Coaching services he provides for individuals and families or groups.
Living in Singapore since 2012 he has experience of, and works with, clients adapting to some form or change in their lives or who may be experiencing the burnout, stress & anxiety that are too often the result of our demanding regional Asian hub culture. Everyone can find value in taking some time for themselves to consciously review who they are and where they are going.
"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
-Alice in Wonderland
He finds working with men particularly rewarding. As a result of societal expectations, men often delay seeking professional help until they’re under intense pressure but there’s a deep satisfaction in witnessing a man finding untapped resources that provide a means to cope better along with the inner strength to apply those resources and discover a greater sense of purpose and pride.
In Jason’s experience, hypnotherapy is more than a tool to support resolving issues and creating lasting change, it’s a gift that you take away with you to empower you to experience greater agency as you stand in your self-authority and design your life.
In Coaching Connections Within & Across Teams Jason’s aims are to create awareness and comfort with conflict as ally.
BIOGRAPHY
In my corporate life, having roles in global MNCs such as regional business leader, GM, and Chief Digital Officer, I worked with highly visible brands to build authentic human connections with their target audience. I helped these brands further develop their platform & approach, delivering the foundation for authentic human connection and growth. We all have a universal need to feel seen, heard and acknowledged. As a counsellor and coach it's my aim to increase this quality in your life. But that's just the starting point.
“Hell is other people”, said the philosopher Sartre. But often it’s the quality of our relationships that can make it so. A single person is already a complex system in itself – add another person (or more) in, and we can see why relationships can sometimes seem like ‘too much work’. Whether it’s a relationship with a loved one, a valued colleague, or an entire team, Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC™) can help you to thrive within these relationships and, even better, help these relationships thrive. Using this model I coach connections within & across teams, partnerships, or families.
ORSC™ is based on Systems Theory, Process Work, Family Systems Therapy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Quantum Physics, Co-Active Coaching™, and more. At its core, it’s the application of Relationship Systems Intelligence. In addition to this, my modern, eclectic, evidence-based approach to hypnotherapy is profoundly client-centered and allows a powerful array of protocols to ensure that therapeutic choices in a session match the needs of the client’s subconscious mind. In this regard I am inspired by founder of Transforming Therapy, Gil Boyne, whose goal was leading his clients to realizing what he called the “beautiful truth about themselves”.
As a Supervised Counselor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, I use Ego-States Therapy to bring this process of awareness and alignment to your ‘inner team’, many of whom live and influence you from a subconscious level, and it’s these that the process gives voice to. EMDR and Solutions-Focused Therapy bridge the gap back towards the cognitive approaches for Coaching and Leadership Development.
Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis since 2014 and the International Coaching Federation since 2018. Practicing and instructing in traditional Japanese and Chinese martial arts, for personal development, since 1992.
